My Creative Space. . .
I know I'm a bit late to the party. . .
Karen Valentine is hosting a Creative Space party! Be sure to visit her site to see links to so many other beautiful spaces!

My creative space is in a corner of my bedroom. I have a small table that I use for a working,
and a black wire rack that holds many of my supplies, as well as many of the magazines I keep for leafing through when I hit a slow idea day.
I also have some white cubes that hold my papers, paints and miscellaneous this-n-thats that I use for creating.
My brushes are held in a small clay pot that my mom gave me. It has yellow and red tulips painted on a dark green background. My colored pencils are in a can that I covered with paper and ribbon, with a tag to label them. Some of my paints are in boxes that I covered with scraps of paper to make them more interesting.
My books are set on top of the radiator that is in the corner. It works well, and keeps the books accessible for inspiration and ideas!
That is a small tour of my space. . .
Thanks for visiting!

Hi Holly -
ReplyDeleteYour workspace is so cozy and fun. Thanks so much for sharing!

Thanks for sharing your space. Everything changed for me once I had a permanent place to create....just like you. My space in currently in our unfinished basement;-)
ReplyDeleteHolly,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your sweet creative space. I love that you surround yourself with things you love. Like using the clay pot that your mother gave you to hold brushes. Whether you create at a small desk in a bedroom or a huge art studio - I think the key is finding inpiration around you. I love simplicity - which is why I love your creative space.
It is perfect...I can't wait to see what that canvas is going to be!
ReplyDeleteSweet, sweet, sweet! I love the angel doll and the white boxes-aren't they just the best?
ReplyDeleteYour photo for your banner is gorgeous! Wish I could come and visit your town.

I have been popping back to see who visited me--I lost track on that lonnnnng list where I left off. I have to use my bedroom for my space too....I am afraid if i set up in the basement my supplies will get ruined or I won't work on anything (out of sight out of mind). I saw you ventured to the Statue of Liberty....I am glad they are letting people into the crown again......My eighth grade class trip was to there----good memories!
ReplyDeleteHi Holly!
ReplyDeleteCan you believe I am STILL blog party hopping too???? ;)
Your space is perfect as it seems to have everything you need! You are so organized to keep it contained to a cute wire rack! I wouldn't be able to do that...at all!
I must admit...I was a little nosey. I perused your blog and I've enjoyed all of the places you've taken us, New York, your church, and parades for the Fourth of July. It's always wonderful to travel with new friends!
Thank you for having me over, I really enjoyed my visit!!!!

Here it is almost a week later and I'm still partying. LOL. Great space, love all your little sweet touches.
