This weekend

There was some uninterrupted painting time in my weekend...I was able to work on a gift for a friend, and began work on a second painting as well. 

I had fun using what my brother-in-law called a "painterly style" on this one. 

Still more work to do on this, but am pleased with the direction it is going (no pun intended).

It was good to paint.
